What are the main compounds in cannabis?
Cannabis contains hundreds of compounds. The two most discussed are THC, which causes the “high,” and CBD, which doesn’t.
How long do the effects last?
It varies by product, amount and how it’s consumed. Inhaled cannabis is usually felt within minutes; edibles usually take 30 minutes to 2 hours and can last several hours or longer.
Can cannabis go bad?
Yes. Every NJ package shows an expiration date, so follow it and the storage directions on the label.
Can I take cannabis home to another state?
No. Taking cannabis across state lines is illegal, even between states where it’s legal.
